How Do We Fix a Damaged Paint Job?
Getting your car painted after an accident is a straightforward procedure that needs to be followed closely. Several layers of products must be applied at strict intervals during the repair. This is what the process looks like:
- Find the correct replacement paint using advanced color-matching software
- Sand/prep the areas that need to be repainted
- Mask off the areas that will not be painted
- Apply primer across any repainted areas
- Apply the color coat(s) to achieve a perfect color match
- Apply clear coat(s) for a high gloss finish and to protect the paint from UV rays
- Bake the finish to aid in the drying process
- Return car to the customer

Prepare
Our technicians sand the repaired area so that the primer has a clean surface to grip to. Proper prepping is essential for a smooth, stock-quality finish.
Prime
Primer fills small imperfections and gives the basecoat a smooth surface to bond to. Our UV-cured primer sets in under five minutes, keeping your repair moving smoothly.
Paint
Color goes on in thin, even coats. Primer and repairs are hidden by applying approximately one to three coats of paint evenly and precisely.
Clear Coat and Cure
Once the paint is dry, clear coat provides the gloss and protects the color from sun, weather, and minor scratches.
