Mackin’s Auto Body began in 1945 when Bob and Doris Mackin purchased the Mobil Oil Service Station in North Portland. He ran the service station, she handled the books. By 1960, they’d built the first Mackin’s Garage on the corner of Denver Ave. and Schofield, where our North Portland location remains today.
